Cosmos Sensation : characteristics, growing conditions and care that should be taken.




Cosmos Sensation seeds grow plants that are covered with large 4″ white, rose, pink & crimson flowers. Cosmos Sensation Seeds are fun and easy to grow. They are drought resistant and grow to a height between 3 and 6 feet. If given enough room these tall cosmos plants will branch freely and produce an abundance of flowers.

Cosmos Sensations are excellent grown in large beds, alongside your mailbox or a long showy row on the edge of your vegetable garden. Cosmos Sensations are a great cut flower, they have beautiful feathery foliage and a lovely flower with a long vase life. Cosmos Sensations grow rapidly and may need staked especially in windy areas.

This series of annuals produces extra large, cup-shaped blossoms to 3-1/2 inches across in shades of white or pink all summer long. Large, sturdy plants have beautiful ferny foliage This Mexican native is loved by butterflies. It produces excellent cut flowers and is ideal for a cutting garden, mixed border, or annual border.

Used in borders and pots. Once established, Cosmos is drought tolerant, and therefore they are a great plant for wildflower or naturalized areas.

How to grow

One of the easiest seeds in the world to grow. Cosmos seed looks like miniature pine needles, which makes seeding simple. Just scatter the seed over freshly turned bare soil, and then compress the seed into the dirt. Do not cover.
